Institute for Biodiversity conservation and Training is pleased to announce Certificate in Remote Sensing with Google Earth Engine (Hands-On training). The course will be held between 22nd March 2020 via online mode. This course is designed for candidates having no prior experience in Remote sensing and or coding.

In this course, the participants will be equipped with the following:

1. Fundamentals of Digital Image Processing
2. Introduction to Google Earth Engine.
3. Derivation of indices such as NDVI, NDBI etc..and interpretation
4. Land-use and Land cover change analysis in Google Earth Engine.

What is Remote Sensing ?
Remote sensing is the process of detecting and monitoring the physical characteristics of an area by measuring its reflected and emitted radiation at a distance from the targeted area.

By the end of the course the candidates will be familiar with Fundamentals of Remote sensing, Digital image processing, Time-series land use land cover change analysis, using open source softwares and Google Earth Engine.

Upon completion of this course candidates will be able to able quickly publish paper in reputed journals/thesis.

Selection of Candidates:
This course accepts 25 students based on first come first serve basis. The selected candidates will be notified by email and are required pay within 3 calendar days from the date of selection.

Course timings:
The course will commence at 9:00 am and expected to complete by 6:30 pm.

What is the cost of the course?
The cost of the course is Rs.1,750.00 (Rupees one thousand seven hundred and fifty only) payable online on or before deadline (selected candidates only).

The fee covers the lectures, the course material, data sets  and Certificate.

What will I get?
Upon successful completion of this course the candidates will receive Certificate.
